This 1-day symposium was held on 19th November, 2000 at Gurunanak Bhawan Auditorium, Bangalore, organized by Sowparnika Ayurvedic Foundation for Research Health & Education (SAFRHON) and sponsored by Cholayil. Over 400 delegates from across the country attended.
Smt. V S Ramadevi, Her Excellency the Governor of Karnataka inaugurated the symposium, while Dr. B Guruswamy, Director ISM & H of Karnataka presided. The president of the symposium was Dr. V P Sidhan, Managing Trustee, Sowparnika Ayurvedic Foundation for Research Health & Education (SAFRHON) and Managing Director of Cholayil.
The key note address was delivered by Dr. B. Vaidyanathan. While the highlight of the symposium was a panel discussion with renowned doctors as the panelists.
